Ujet Goes to VivaTech

One of the biggest events in Europe dedicated to technological innovations and startups
Vivatech Robot

VivaTech is an incubator of technological ideas, gathering some of the world’s newest start-ups and biggest brands, names, designers and manufacturers.

One important aspect of this year’s event was the importance of clean mobility and transportation. Ujet took its place as one of the main players in the field, displaying the electric scooter to thousands of visitors, investors, designers, creators and even the president of France, Mr. Emmanuel Macron.

Partnering with some of the biggest companies in France like BNP Paribas, LVMH, La Poste, Orange and more, VivaTech offered a battleground for start-ups to compete, challenge and collaborate with each other to create new technological solutions. Approximately 1,000 start-ups participated in an attempt to attract clients and investors alike to create an incubator of technological productivity. While the first two days could be described as a business conference, the following days were filled with robots, drones, VR headsets and more. One of the main attractions was the Mobility Park where different brands covered new technologies to redefine the way we move around, smart parking, new fuel sources like hydrogen and also improve the efficiency of existing technologies and vehicles.

Ujet’s flagship scooter was presented as a futuristic solution for mobility, available today. Focused on tackling urban mobility issues like traffic and pollution, the scooter offers a unique, clean design and countless features to ease urban life. This stylish mobility solution is built using the latest technology to aid both users and the environment alike.

Created, developed and built for the 21st century, the Ujet scooter offers smart connectivity thanks to an integrated smartphone app. The smart interface offers multiple connectivity solutions such as a SIM card, 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi and even Bluetooth. You can control, share and lock the scooter remotely.

This modern scooter is built with some of the most advanced materials available. The carbon fiber composite used for the bodywork saves weight and also provides great structural integrity and rigidity. The wheels are the lightest in their class thanks to their nano-augmented structure. TUBALL™ technology contains single-wall carbon nanotubes that double the amount of grip and traction. The spoke-less orbital wheel has a built-in suspension system and large brakes, allowing for great maneuverability and control. The scooter’s 5.44hp and 90 Nm of torque are instantly available in a single grip of the throttle.

The Ujet’s design is like nothing else on the market, drawing inspiration from organic shapes and modern architecture. This eccentric mix of elements creates a very distinct shape, an elegant frame that beautifully connects all parts of the scooter in a seamless silhouette. Sculpted like a work from the Renaissance, the chiseled frame offers not only beautiful design but also folding capabilities, allowing you to easily carry and store the scooter when not in use. The scooter’s battery is easily detachable and also serves as the seat; thanks to the built-in wheels, it is extremely easy to transport like luggage and then to connect to any regular electrical socket for charging.

The Ujet comes with many accessories, such as touch-screen friendly gloves and matching helmets for ultimate style in motion. You can customize the scooter to make it truly yours by choosing between a curved or chiseled frame, high or low seat and different battery choices. The crowd at VivaTech was pleasantly surprised by the Ujet’s capabilities, features, vision and design. As European cities increasingly adopt alternative transportation solutions, Ujet caters to those who don’t want to sacrifice style for functionality, and who want to stand out from the crowd.
