VivaTech is an incubator of technological ideas, gathering some of the world’s newest start-ups and biggest brands, names, designers and manufacturers.
One important aspect of this year’s event was the importance of clean mobility and transportation. Ujet took its place as one of the main players in the field, displaying the electric scooter to thousands of visitors, investors, designers, creators and even the president of France, Mr. Emmanuel Macron.
Partnering with some of the biggest companies in France like BNP Paribas, LVMH, La Poste, Orange and more, VivaTech offered a battleground for start-ups to compete, challenge and collaborate with each other to create new technological solutions. Approximately 1,000 start-ups participated in an attempt to attract clients and investors alike to create an incubator of technological productivity. While the first two days could be described as a business conference, the following days were filled with robots, drones, VR headsets and more. One of the main attractions was the Mobility Park where different brands covered new technologies to redefine the way we move around, smart parking, new fuel sources like hydrogen and also improve the efficiency of existing technologies and vehicles.
