The purpose was to design a product, easily adjustable to our scooter telescopic bar system, with the core idea behind being to move away from the conventional design. Thus, the unique telescopic bar system, our team decided to take a challenge and create a product that cannot be compared with other storage solutions, simply due to the number of user scenarios that we could induce thanks to the unique design and efficiencies of Ujet electric scooter.
We wanted the Ujet backpack to have a pair of ‘wings‘ used as a fastening system. They are attached to the back part of the backpack and folding to sides where quick release fastens are located,
allowing quick mounting of the bag trough wrapping the Ujet telescopic bar. Our storage solution has a designated pocket to carry a laptop and other sensitive equipment varying in size including the helmet.

That's what it took us to arrive at the final idea that successfully passed all the approval stages. Unfortunately, the production stage presented its challenges; manufacturing complexities especially when it comes to mass-scale production are the main reason why many projects do not make it to the end-user. Walking on a sharp edge between freedom and mass scale requirements allowed our team to bring our product from sketch to reality.
